Week 7
In the seventh week I learned about reflexive pronouns. These are words like myself, yourself, himself, herself, ourselves, and themselves. Before this lesson, I had seen these words before, but I did not completely understand how to use them. Now I know that we use reflexive pronouns when the subject and the object are the same person. For example, when we say, “She taught herself French,” it means she did the action for her own benefit.
Learning this topic helped me understand English sentences better. Reflexive pronouns make ideas clearer because they show exactly who receives the action. After practicing with different examples, I realized that these pronouns are very useful in everyday English. Now I feel more confident using them when I speak and write.
