Week 3

In the third week I learned the difference between would and used to. Both of them are used to talk about the past, but they do not mean the same thing. I learned that used to is for habits or situations that were true in the past, but they are not true now. For example, when I say “I used to play outside,” it means I did it before, but not anymore. I also learned that would is used to talk about repeated actions in the past, things that happened again and again. Understanding this difference helped me a lot because now I can describe my past experiences in a more clear and correct way. I feel more confident when I try to talk or write about things from my past.
